Durban Review Conference

La Durban Review Conference che avra’ luogo a Ginevra tra il 20 e il 24 aprile e’ un meeting che ha come obiettivo la valutazione dei passi compiuti dagli Stati verso l’effettiva implementazione della Convenzione contro il Razzismo, la Discriminazione Razziale, la Xenofobia e le Altre Discriminazioni firmata nel 2001 a Durban, in Sud Africa. L’Ufficio Diritti Umani FMA di Ginevra sara’ presente al dibattito, come lo e’ stato durante i lavori preparatori che si sono svolti durante questi giorni, e vi terra’ aggiornati sull’evoluzione del processo. The Durban Review Conference, to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, 20-24 April 2009, will evaluate progress towards the goals set by the World Conference Against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance in Durban, South Africa, in 2001.
